We can't wait to see you!

WHEN:  Wednesday 4th –Monday 9th June 2025 10am–6pm

WHERE: 306 Brunswick St, Fitzroy VIC

Hello Animal Lovers! Such exciting news! Whether you’ve been collecting Lenko sweaters for years or you’re just discovering the brand, you're invited to the best Pop Up all year.

Get ready to feel warm and fuzzy! This is your opportunity to see and feel in person all the designs you've come to love online.

Running for one week only, the vibrant retail space will showcase the Lenko 100 Animals collection. Explore two decades of limited-edition designs, drool over the ones that got away, and shop the latest collection of embroidered animals.

We all know everything is better in an Animal Sweater, making the annual release an eagerly awaited event by the brand’s loyal fan base. For almost 20 years, designer Dana Lenko has invited the public to vote annually on which animals should be turned into sweaters. Each piece is then hand-cut, embroidered, and made in a limited edition, entirely in Melbourne by a dedicated local team. Staying true to its values, Lenko shines a light on quirky, lesser-known and endangered species—especially Australian natives—turning them into wearable art for a devoted fan base that includes wildlife carers, scientists, and lovers of local design.

"The Lenko 100 is a tribute to Melbourne’s love of wearable art," says founder Dana Lenko. “The most rewarding part has been connecting with the creative community and animal lovers. I’ve learned so much about the natural world from our dedicated customers. This milestone is a moment to reflect and celebrate with the community that’s supported us all these years.”

Exhibition highlights include:

  • The wall of animal sweaters designs, past favourites and new additions.

  • Limited reissues of classic designs (hello peacock spiders!)

  • The new minis series of beanies and T-shirts

Featured animals include: Peacock Spider, Greater Glider, Tawny Frogmouth, Nudibranchs, Giant Manta Ray, Blue-Footed Booby, Cassowary, Gang-Gang Cockatoo,  Spinosaurus, Splendid Fairywren, Anglerfish, Geckos and Tasmanian Devil.

See you at the Pop Up Shop!
