Giant Manta Ray (Mobula birostris)  seem to fly fly through the ocean, their massive pectoral fins creating amazing force. They can even leap up out of the ocean in some incredible displays of aqua acrobatics! While Giant Manta Rays are enormous, they’re completely harmless. They have no stingers, and are filter feeders, opening their huge vaccuum mouths to collect delicious plankton. Manta Rays have the largest brain to body ratio of any fish, making them highly intelligent.
