These marsupials are named for their sweet diet of fruit nectar and eucalyptus sap.
Sugar Gliders have amazing gliding membranes called patagium, which act like a parachute. These enable them to glide around 50m, steering effectively by moving their limbs to adjust the membrane. Their bushy tail also helps control their stability. Truly amazing animals!
